Damage of Rs 250,000 due to leopard entering an agro farm in Pokhara

Kathmandu : A leopard has entered an agro farm in Pokhara and killed a duck and a turkey.

A leopard has entered the Eco Agro Farm at Biramkuna in Pokhara-23 and killed chickens, ducks and turkeys in the morning, causing a loss of Rs 250,000. The leopard killed about 100 chickens, 50 ducks, 40 turkeys and 5 loucat chickens, said Shravan Kumar BK, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gandaki.

The farm run by Nima Sherpa, who is currently living in Birimkuna, Pokhara from Sankhuwasabha Dudhkoshi-5, has been damaged by a leopard.

The incident is being further investigated, according to the State Police Office, Pokhara.
