Kathmandu : The District Police Office, Surkhet has arrested a woman absconding defendant in a check disrespect case and will produce her in the Surkhet District Court today after an antigen test.
Police have arrested Parvati Shahi, 32, of Dharpani in Surkhet of Birendranagar Municipality-1. According to the District Police Office, Shahi was sentenced to two years imprisonment by the Surkhet District Court on Falgun 28, 2077.
A police team deployed from Zipraka on the basis of special information to implement the court’s verdict arrested him on Sunday and kept him in the custody cell of the office.
