Kathmandu : Surkhet police have arrested five people in a gambling case after seven years for extorting Rs 200.
According to Surkhet District Police Office Spokesperson and SP Ram Prasad Gharti, the arrested are Lokendra Thapa, 31, Lokendra Sunar, 40, Sandeep Shrestha, 37, Roshan Bhattarai, 37, and Dhan Bahadur Gurung, 38, of Birendranagar Municipality-4.
They were arrested from Birendranagar-6 on Thursday on the basis of special information and produced at the District Administrationa Office, Surkhet, police said.
