Kathmandu : Police have arrested a dozen gamblers from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-12 of Moran district. According to the District Police Office, Morang, 12 people have been arrested for gambling at Sangat Geet at Biratnagar-12.
A team from the District Police Office, Morang has recovered 231,000 rupees from Juwakhal.
Among the arrested are Rahul Sahani, Bhuvan Kalakheti, Rajan Paudar, Dinesh Satra and Subodh Paswan of Biratnagar.
According to the Gambling Act-2020, the accused are being investigated by the District Administration Office, Morang for five days, said Deepak Shrestha, DSP, Morang.
