Five kg of Yarsagumba recovered from Humla Simkot Airport

Kathmandu : Humla police have recovered five kg of Yarsagumba at Simkot Airport. Yarsagumba was recovered from a Tara Air flight from Nepalgunj to Simkot on Friday.

According to Humla Deputy Superintendent of Police Heramba Sharma, the police found five kg of Yarsagumba without a permit during a routine check at the airport and sent it to the District Division One Office.

He said that 31 year old Nurvu Tamang, who was given a two kg discount permit by the Division One Office, Bajhang, was found after checking the weight of three kg without a permit on a digital scale.

The illegal seizures were made after more were found during the check than the revenue paid. According to the police, Tamang was arrested along with Yarsagumba and handed over to the District Division One Office, Humla.
