Kathmandu : Police have arrested a fugitive accused who was jailed for five days in a banking case.
A team deployed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Prem Kumari Khadgi of Kathmandu-16 on Friday. The Patan High Court had sentenced Khadgi, 48, to five days in jail and a fine of Rs 2 million on Jestha 21, 2076.
Knowing that there was not enough money in her account, Khadgi had given a check of NMB Bank of Jaherwala. The bureau has produced her in the district court in Lalitpur.
