Kathmandu : Eleven Nepalis have been rescued from Afghanistan today. They were rescued from Kabul and taken to New Delhi, the foreign ministry said.
Stating that the process of repatriation of Nepalis from Afghanistan is underway and 42 people awaiting rescue in different parts of Kabul have been integrated near different places and placed near Kabul airport, the ministry said that coordination is being made at various levels to bring all the integrated people to the plane.
The ministry said that coordination and facilitation was being carried out to repatriate those rescued from Afghanistan to Doha, Dubai, London and New Delhi and the arrival and landing of a civil aviation service in Kabul had not been announced yet.
The ministry has requested those in Afghanistan to register their names and details on the online portal on the Consular Services website.
