Kathmandu : The government has said that all Nepalis in Afghanistan are safe. At present, 42 people are in the same group in Kabul and they are safe, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The government is in regular contact with all those in Kabul and is coordinating with the concerned agencies to repatriate them, the ministry said in a press release this evening.
The ministry also said that 11 people rescued from Kabul and taken to New Delhi were in the process of coming to Kathmandu.
The ministry has requested those in Afghanistan to register their names and details on the online portal on the Consular Services website.
