Kathmandu : Eleven persons have been injured in a road accident at Birendranagar Municipality-2, Surkhet.
The vehicle (No. 1 Kha 2574) heading towards Jumla from near Surkhet Radio Nepal overturned uncontrollably.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Karnali State Hospital, Kalagaun, Surkhet, said Ram Prasad Gharti, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Surkhet. He said that the police from Bangesimal immediately rescued him and rushed him to the state hospital for treatment.
According to the police, five of the injured are in critical condition and six are in normal condition.
Police said that they were searching for the absconding driver after the accident and were conducting necessary investigation into how the accident took place in Birendranagar.
