Kathmandu : A team from District Police Office, Bardiya has arrested two persons for trying to give bribe.
According to SP Ishwar Karki of Bardiya, two teenagers were arrested for trying to bribe at a joint checkpoint of the District Police Office and Traffic Police at Shahid Gate in Gulariya Municipality-7.
Among the arrested are Rakesh Khatik, 20, and Ajay Khatik, 19, of Gulariya Municipality-11. They offered a bribe of Rs 500 when they were asked for a blue book and a license by the police on a motorcycle (Lu 20 Pa 861).
Police have remanded them in custody on charges of violating public interest.
