Kathmandu : Police have arrested a woman on charge of stealing gold jewelery from Jirigaun in Tokha Municipality-8 of Kathmandu.
Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Spokesperson (SP) Ramesh Basnet said that Sajita Pariyar, a resident of West Rukum, was arrested. It has been claimed that he entered the house of Gahan Raj Shahi in Jirigaun on Ashoj 10 and stole about 7 tolas of jewelery.
A team from Kathmandu had arrested Pariyar from Basantapur on Monday.
Sajita, who has been living in Jaisi Deval is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj.
