Kathmandu : The identity of a young man who was strangeld to death in Dhanusha has been revealed.
The body was found on Sunday morning on the way to Navtoli from Ganguli in Nagarain Municipality Ward No. 5. The body has been identified as that of Sanjeev Pandit of Siraha Mirchaiya Municipality Ward No. 8.
Dhanusha Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Basnet said that someone may have strangled Pandit. The locals had informed the police after seeing the body in the morning.
Police have brought the body to the Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital for postmortem. Dhanusha police said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
