Kathmandu : Eleven Afghan nationals arrested in Kathmandu’s Sinamangal have been handed over to the Immigration Department.
According to DIG Dhiraj Pratap Singh, the 11 arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have been handed over to the department for action as per the Immigration act.
“As 11 Afghans have entered Nepal illegally, action will be taken as per the Immigration Act,” said DIG Singh.
The CIB arrested Amanullah Mohammadi, Ajmal Sarifi, Akam Jazai, Ramal Hotak, Isnullah Hassemi, Imran Ali Jada, Mohammad Jamrai Sanikzai, Nazifa Stanikzai, Misbah Jain Stanikzai, Nurul Haya Staniqzai, Mohammad Ryan Staniqzai.
After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, they fled and entered Nepal via India.
