Kathmandu : Millions of rupees in cash and goods have been stolen from two places in Kathmandu.
Various gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 337,000 was stolen from the room of Ram Prasad Srivastava, 42, of Rautahat Rajdevi Municipality-3, Tankeshwor, Kathmandu on Friday afternoon.
Similarly, a television set and various gold ornaments worth Rs 481,000 were stolen from the house of Kumar Shah, a resident of Ramailo Danda in Tokha Municipality-3 on Friday night.
Upon receiving the news of the theft, the police deployed from the nearby police office are searching for the absconding persons involved in the theft and conducting necessary investigation in this regard.
