Four killed in fire in Lalitpur

Kathmandu : Four people have died in a fire in Lalitpur district.

Four people have died in a fire that broke out at the house of Laxmi Krishna Tamrakar at Mangal Bazaar in Lalitpur district. The deceased have been identified as Laxmikrishna Tamrakar, Anjana Tamrakar, Rajna Tamrakar and Nirmal Tamrakar.

Two persons have been injured in the fire. Efforts are underway to put out the fire, said SSP Kiran Bajracharya of Lalitpur Metropolitan Police.

It is suspected that the gas cylinder caught fire. According to the police, the fire was started by a burning lamp during the Puja and later a gas explosion caused great human loss.
