Kathmandu : The driver of the scooter died in the accident.
A scooter (Bagmati Pradesh 02-016P 3436) coming from Madhyapurthimi Municipality Dhunchepakha to Thimi has met with an accident at three intersections in Madhyapurthimi Municipality-8.
The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Tamang, 35, of Likhu Gaonpalika-6 of Ramechhap and currently residing in Dhunchepakha of Madhyapurthimi Municipality, said Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Giri. Tamang, who was injured in the accident, was rushed to Nepal-Korea Friendly Municipal Hospital for treatment.
He died at the hospital while undergoing treatment. Police have started investigation into the incident.
