Kathmandu : A child has died when he was hit by a vehicle in Pokhara.
A child was hit by a vehicle while walking at Zebra Cross on Ganatantra Chowk under Pokhara-Baglung Highway on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Shubham Khanal, 14, of Pokhara-5.
The boy, who was critically inured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences, said DSP and Police Spokesperson Subash Hamal. He said the vehicle that hit the child could not be identified and an investigation was underway.
The boy was studying in class five of Shanti Niketan School in Pokhara.
