Kathmandu : Police have arrested a man from Baunia village in Bardagoria Gaonpalika-2 of Kailali district along with fake Nepali rupees.
Motiram Chaudhary, 31, and Hasan Chaudhary, 41, were arrested, said Prateek Bista, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali.
A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Sadakpur, recovered 40 counterfeit Nepali rupees worth Rs 1,000 from them.
The accused are locals of Bardagoria village. DSP Bista said that further investigation is underway.
