Woman involved in husband’s murder arrested after 7 years

Kathmandu : Police have arrested a woman who was absconding after killing her husband after seven years.

Dil Kumari Sen, a resident of Tulsipur sub-municipality of Dang, is among those arrested. She is accused of killing her husband Drona Bahadur Sen. He was found dead with a head injury under the Simrik Bridge at Sen Dhobikhola in Thapagaun of Kathmandu, a permanent home of Dang Tulsipur Municipality-10.

Police had arrested Bhime Sarki, 54, of Gokulganga Gaonpalika-4, Ramechhap on charge of being involved in the incident. He is in custody for trial by order of Kathmandu District Court.

Dil Kumari, who was absconding in the same case, was arrested by the police team deployed from the Metropolitan Crime Branch on Mangsir 14 on the basis of confidential information.

According to the Crime Branch, he was sent to Baneshwor Metropolitan Police Circle for further investigation.
