Air service closed in Humla after snowfall

Kathmandu : The temperature has risen sharply in the district headquarters Simkot after continuous rain and snowfall since this morning.

Due to the snowfall, the temperature has risen in November this year. Even the locals of the district headquarters have been affected due to the snowfall.

Similarly, development work in the northern part above Simkot has been affected due to extreme cold due to snowfall, said Visundas Lama, project chief of Hilsa-Simkot road project. Flights from Nepalgunj to Simkot headquarters airport have been canceled due to water and snow.

The snowfall has made it difficult for the people of Jang, Halji and Tilgaon villages of Limi to move to Simkot district headquarters and other places. Village chairman Paljor Lama said that it was very difficult for the residents of the area to do even minor work.
