Kathmandu : Police have arrested 80 people, including one Chinese nationa, from Sanothimi in Bhaktapur.
Among the arrested are Nepali employees working in a call center run by a Chinese national in Sanothimi. According to DSP Raju Pandey of Bhaktapur Campus, the investigaiton has revealed that Indians are investing in meter interest through a call center operated by renting a three story house in Sanothimi.
Chinese nationals had given jobs to Nepali employees by paying 15 to 20 thousand rupees. Police have recovered 48 laptops and 14 computer desktops from the call center in Bhaktapur.
On Monday evening, Kathmandu police arrested 37 people, including one Chinese, from Old Baneshwor.
