Kathmandu : A cyclist has died after being hit by a truck at Koshi-8 Bhantabari in Sunsari district last night.
The deceased has been identified as 60 year old Bharat Sahani. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar Karki, a truck (P2-03-001KH 2505) heading east from the west had hit a cyclist coming from the same direction.
Karki died at the District Hospital, Inaruwa while undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
Police have arrested the truck driver Lasadorje Zimba, 54, of Parwanipur in Sarlahi district.
