An ATR 72 aircraft operated by Yeti Airlines that flew to Pokhara to Kathmandu has crashed in Pokhara, Kaski district on Sunday morning.
While landing at the Pokhara airport, the aircraft crashed in the bank of Seti River between the old airport and the new airport. The flight was carrying 68 passengers and 4 crew members.
According to rescue officials at the crash site, the recovery of bodies is ongoing and more deaths are expected. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
